How can I import data back into Salesforce?

Last Updated: Jul 14, 2015 03:05PM CDT

All salesforce data that is backed up is available for recovery via export and restore is performed using native Salesforce import tools.  The first step is to find the data you need to restore from any point-in-time backup, export the desired data from Spanning, and then use the native Salesforce.com tools to import data back into your Salesforce.com account.

To import data from a Spanning Backup export into Salesforce.com, we recommend using the available tools and best practices suggested by Salesforce or third-party tools you typically use for importing data.
