Will IP restrictions in Salesforce cause issues with Spanning Backup?

After you have installed Spanning Backup for Salesforce, if you receive an "IP Restricted" error message when Spanning tries to back up your data, you may have certain IP addresses blocked.  These could be blocked through some Salesforce security settings or through your network firewall.  Spanning Backup for Salesforce uses standard port 443 and requires certain IP addresses to be whitelisted.  

There are two groups of IP addresses that will need to be accessible:
 
  1. Global IP addresses that are required for all installs.
  2. Datacenter IP addresses that are specific to the datacenter you chose during the install process.

The global and datacenter IP addresses are listed below:
 
Global IP Address Information (required for all installs)-

US Data Center IP Address Information (required for US installs only)-
