Why was my account renewed 30 days in advance?

If your Spanning account is set up for credit card or auto-invoice billing and auto-renew is enabled, Spanning will try to automatically renew your account 30 days in advance of your expiration date with the credit card currently on file.  Spanning renews your account 30 days in advance so that if there are any billing issues (expired credit card, purchase restrictions, etc.), then there is ample time to update the billing information before the account expires and you are susceptible to data loss.

All billing information can be updated in the Billing Summary page of the License Manger, which can be accessed by following these steps:

1. Go to your domain's License Manager by clicking the 'Manage Licenses' button in the Spanning admin console, or by going to the link directly below:

2. Click the 'Gear' icon in the upper-right corner of the screen and select the Billing Summary Page

3. Here, you will be able to update your credit card information, print out detailed receipts of all of your previous purchases, enable / disable auto-renew, and more.
