Currently, Spanning Backup for Office 365 backs up Mail, Calendars, Contacts, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
Spanning does not back up certain aspects of the above services:
- Mail
- Public Folders
- Calendars
- Shared calendars are only backed up in the owner's account, due to a limitation in the API
- OneDrive
- Shared files are only backed up in the owner's account due to a limitation in the API
- SharePoint
- Lists, pages and contents other than Document Libraries are not backed up
