Yes, you can save your selections for Object Type, Field Name and Field Values for overwriting field values in same-org or cross-org restore so that you can quickly load up overwrite values in future restores.
To save your selections for overwriting field values, follow the steps below:
1. Log into your Spanning Backup for Salesforce account.
2. Click the “'Restore”' button on the main dashboard. Please note that we will go through these steps to save overwrite field values as a reusable preset and the saved presets can be used for same-org or cross-org restores.
3. Select This Org.
4. Select the object type with updated or deleted records for which you want to restore data.
5. Select the desired date range, and whether you want to display items that were updated, deleted, or both.
6. Select all of the objects that you would like to restore. When ready, click "Next".
7. Check the "Overwrite field values during the restore process" option.
8. Choose the Object Type, Field Name and enter the field values that you would like to save as a preset.
9. When ready, hit “Save” and type in the name of the preset to reuse it again for future restores. The saved presets can be used for same-org and cross-org restores.
10. To save more presets, repeat steps 8 and 9.
11. To use a saved preset, click on “Saved Preset” and choose a Preset from the “Select Preset” dropdown.
To delete a saved preset, follow the steps below:
1. Repeat steps 1-7 above.
2. Click on “Saved Preset” and choose a Preset from the “Select Preset” dropdown that you would like to delete.
3. Hit “Delete” and then hit “Confirm” to delete the preset. Please note that once a preset is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
To edit a saved preset, follow the steps below:
1. Repeat steps 1-7 above.
2. Click on “Saved Preset” and choose a Preset from the “Select Preset” dropdown that you would like to edit.
3. Make changes to the Object Type, Field Name and Field Values.
4. When ready, hit “Save”
5. To save this preset as a new preset, enter a new name for the preset and hit “Save”. To replace the saved preset with the same name, hit “Save” without changing the name of the preset.
